all barriers that limit African women from actualizing their desires for peace
in the continent.
Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan, who spoke at the formal opening of the seventh First Ladies Peace Mission in Africa, also task African women to exploit their numbers in electing more women in policy making positions.
African women were also challenged to employ their influence in stemming the growing trend of violence across Africa.
