The Senate has resolved to probe the
alleged sale of Malabo oil block 245 by the Federal Government to the tune of
1.9 US dollars.
This followed the adoption of a motion sponsored by Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Abdul Ningi and 48 other lawmakers.
Senator Ningi alleged that the proceed from the sale of the oil block does not reflect in the Federal Government accounts arguing that it may be diverted into private account.
