REPS begin damage control

The House of Representatives has called on Security Agencies in the country to urgently conclude investigation into the bribery allegation between its member, Faruk Lawan and Oil Magnate, Femi Otedola.

Spokesman of the House, Zakari Mohammed, who was reacting to the altercation between Otedola and members of the Committee on Ethics and Privileges, say security agencies have a duty to prosecute the culprits identified in the controversial case.

The call may signal a renewed effort by the Parliament to stem the tide of current negative perception of the House
