BOKO-HARAM:OYELESE TO FG...DECLARE EMERGENCY ON IMMIGRATION, CUSTOMS

FORMER Minister of Power and Steel, Elder Wole Oyelese today alerted that there are strange movements of people into the Southwestern part of the country.

He called on the security agencies to swing into action by screening people entering the region to forestall possible security threat.

Oyelese advised the federal government to declare a state of emergency on Immigratipn and the Customs along the northern borders of the country to stop daily insurgency of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

He said declaring emergency along the borders is imperative in order to cut the line of supply of armament to the Islamic insurgent group.

He told Nigerians to stop fooling themselves about the problem being faced wondering when military fatigue and bullet proof vests became part of the paraphelenia of Fulani herdsmen.

He warned that it would be naïve at this time to still believe that the Boko Haram or terrorists insurgency is a purely Nigerian affair though it is now apparent that some elements within are now capitalising on our unpatriotic attitude to our citizens welfare.
