The Bayelsa State Governor Henry Seriake Dickson has laid the
foundation for the permanent site of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC
Orientation Camp in Kaiama,the headquarters of Kolokuma Opokuma Local
Government of the state.
Dickson laid the
foundation shortly after the swearing in ceremony of Batch B Corps Members at
the temporary orientation camp in kaiama.
The governor urged the
Batch B Corps members to integrate among themselves in oneness as Nigerians
even though coming from different ethnic or religious background adding that
the state government would provide food subsidy for the corps members posted to
the state.
Two thousand three hundred and eighty five
Batch B Corps Members were administered with the Oath of Allegiance in Bayelsa
State.
The State Cordinator of
the NYSC Sanusi Abiodun says the figure represent the highest posting of
corps members to the state since inception.
