The Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia has announced that the standing
on the plain of Arafat for this year’s hajj will be on Thursday next week while
sallah would be observed on Friday.
The court has also announced today,
Wednesday as the first day of the lunar month of Dhul Hijjah.
The Director of Public Security General
SAEED BIN ABDULLAH AL-QAHTANI said in a statement that the Minister of Interior
and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince AHMAD BIN ABDUL AZIZ will on Saturday inspect the preparations for this year’s Hajj
season.
He said already some one point four
million pilgrims from one hundred and sixty countries have arrived for the
Hajj.
