The Rivers State
Police Command says it has arrested two more suspects in connection
with killing of four Uniport students in Aluu community.
The Rivers State
Commissioner of Police MOHAMMED INDABAWA confirmed this while parading all the
suspected arrested to newsmen in Port Harcourt.
The Rivers State
Commissioner of Police MOHAMMED INDABAWA said eleven of thirteen people
arrested in connection with the killings have been charged to court.
He said the two
others recently arrested will also be charged to court tomorrow.
The Rivers State
Commissioner for Police MOHAMMED INDABAWA also confirmed that the two police
who went for rescue of the four students ran away at the sighting of the mob.
Some of the paraded
suspects confirmed that the policemen also joined in beating up the murdered
students.
