cornerstone of Nigeria's democracy.
The Supreme Court in a unanimous judgement dismissed the appeal of Mr. Imoro
Kuboh and his party, Change Advocacy Party (CAP), for lack of merit and further
affirmed the judgements of the lower courts upholding the election of Governor
Dickson.
The lead judgement was delivered by Justice Walter Onoghen.
Governor Dickson, who dedicated the victory to God and the good people of
Bayelsa State, thanked them for their continued prayers and support for his
administration and urged them to be steadfast as the best is yet to come.
