Shut Nigeria's Border With Cameroon, Niger & Chad To Curtail Influx Of Terrorist - Conference Delegates Tells FG

Delegates to the national conference have advised the Federal Government to shut Nigeria’s borders with Cameroon, Niger and Chad to curtail the influx of insurgents.

Delegates were reacting to the bomb blast at Nyanya bus Terminus in the Federal Capital Territory.

Most of the women delegates dressed in black attire while most men were in black stripes and caps.

The Convener of Save Nigeria Group Pastor Tunde Bakare, lamented that security agencies had not been able to curtail the activities of the terrorists in the North-East.

He suggested a stand down of the conference to send a strong message to the government on the need to show more purposeful will to overcome the threat.

An elder statesman, Doctor Kunle Olajide, said the country was being invaded and politicians must not play politics with the situation.
