Suspected gunmen believed
to be Boko Haram’s members have ambushed and killed eighteen traders returning
from a local market in Borno State.
Reports said the suspected
terrorists attacked two buses on the Bama-Gwoza road and shot dead the traders,
who were returning from a market at Pulka on Tuesday.
Pulka is a Nigerian border
town with Cameroon and south of Maiduguri, the state capital.
An eyewitness said the
traders were ordered to disembark from the two buses conveying them and
subsequently asked to identify themselves by the insurgents.
