Kidnappers Of Edwin Clark Son's Demands 50 Million Naira For His Release


Suspected kidnappers of Ebikeme Clark, son of elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark have reportedly contacted the family and demanded about fifty million naira ransom for his release.

He was kidnapped on Wednesday at Kiagbodo, Delta State.

The State Commissioner of Police, Ikechukwu Aduba said the police have arrested three of the kidnappers and warned that no ransom should be paid.

He said the kidnap was carried out by Ijaw kinsmen of Edwin Clark and the police would burst the syndicate.


He said the police were working with ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo and other Ijaw groups to track down the kidnappers.
