House Of Reps Summons Service Chiefs Over Chibok Abduction

The House of Representatives has summoned service chiefs to brief members on efforts at rescuing the school girls abducted in Chibok, Borno State by suspected Boko Haram members.

At the resumed sitting of the lawmakers in Abuja after a three-week Easter break, the house condemned the abduction of the girls and berated the armed forces for allegedly being slow in efforts to rescue the schoolgirls.

Those expected to appear by the House included the Chief of Defence State; Chief of Army Staff; Chief of Naval Staff; and the Chief of Air Staff.
