The House of
Representatives has summoned service chiefs to brief members on efforts at
rescuing the school girls abducted in Chibok, Borno State by suspected Boko
Haram members.
At the resumed sitting of
the lawmakers in Abuja after a three-week Easter break, the house condemned the
abduction of the girls and berated the armed forces for allegedly being slow in
efforts to rescue the schoolgirls.
Those expected to appear
by the House included the Chief of Defence State; Chief of Army Staff; Chief of
Naval Staff; and the Chief of Air Staff.
