Bauchi State Gets First Female Chief Judge


Bauchi State Governor Isa Yuguda has sworn in the first female Acting Chief Judge for the state, Justice Rabi Umar with a promise that his administration will ensure that the Judiciary as an arm of government remains independent.

Governor Yuguda assured the Acting Chief Judge that his administration will do everything administratively possible to ensure that the judiciary excelled.


Justice Rabi Umar is to act as the Chief Judge of the state over the next three months when a substantive Chief Judge is expected to be appointed on the recommendation of the National judicial Commission.
