Nigeria External Debt Hit 3.8 Billion Dollars


Nigeria’s external debt has hit nine point 3.8 billion dollars.

The Director General of Debt Management Office, Abraham Nwankwo who disclosed this in Abuja said the country’s domestic debt stood at eight point nine trillion naira.


He said the debt profile was okay for countries within Nigeria’s level of economic development but stated that it was not a guarantee for further borrowing.
