A former chairman of the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, says his
defection from the APC to the Peoples Democratic Party was in the pursuit of
what he described as a good cause.
The presidential candidate
of the Action Congress of Nigeria in twenty eleven election said in a statement
that his decision to join the PDP was not borne out of selfish interests as
being portrayed in some quarters.
Nuhu Ribadu formally
joined the PDP on Saturday, and on Monday he picked the PDP’s Expression of
Interest form to run for the October eleven Adamawa State governorship
bye-election.
