The State Security Service
has said that there are strong indications that female suicide bombers may be
disguising in Catholic Reverend Sisters’ outfit with the aim of attacking
innocent Nigerians.
SSS spokesperson, Marilyn
Ogar said in a statement that some unidentified persons had on the twentieth of
August broke into a tailoring shop located at Sabon Gari in Kano State and
stole about thirteen pieces of Nun’s regalia.
She said with the recent
trend of female suicide bombings in the country, the theft of the regalia
heightens concerns about the possibility of terrorist elements using same to
perpetrate acts of terror.
