Sixty-one people out of
the secondary contacts being monitored in Lagos over the Ebola virus disease
have been certified free and discharged.
The state Governor, Babatunde
Fashola made this known while reacting to allegations that victims quarantined
in Lagos have been abandoned.
Governor Fashola who
explained that the victims were being cared for by volunteer workers stated
that getting sufficient knowledgeable personnel, especially health workers to
care for them have been a challenge.
