The State Security Service has paraded six suspects accused of killing former private secretary of Governor Adams
Oshiomole, Olaitan Oyerinde at his residence in Benin City.
The suspects who were brought to the headquarters of the Service, in Abuja, admitted to the crime but insisted they were on a routine robbery operation at the residence of the deceased.
That Investigations by the SSS revealed that the robbery was
executed after series of vital information was divulged by security guard of
comrade Oyerinde.
Leader of the gang, forty six year old Mohammed Abdulhai, confessed to firing the killer shot.
Another suspect, twenty six year old Raymond Origbo, confirmed that Mohammed Abdullahi shot and killed comrade Oyerinde.

He also admitted he got six thousand naira and a blackberry
smart phone as his share from the items stolen.
Thirty year old Chikezie Edeh admitted receiving an Apple Ipad computer as his share from the operation which he sold at the rate of ten thousand naira.
The murder weapons comprising three guns, used during the robbery have all been recovered.
The suspects are currently in the custody of the SSS and would be handed over to the police for criminal prosecution
