The Federal Government has agreed to meet with the leadership of electricity workers on Wednesday following the intervention of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress.
The Minister of Labour and Productivity, Emeka Wogu told newsmen in Lagos that the meeting would centre on the new issues raised by the workers and those that had not been resolved.
The NLC had last week threatened to embark on indefinite strike if federal government failed to enter into dialogue with the PHCN workers and withdraw soldiers from all PHCN installations across the country including its headquarters in Abuja.
