The Senator representing
Rivers South-East Senatorial District, Magnus Abe has been shot in the chest by
the police in Rivers State.
Magnus Abe who was shot at
a close range with rubber bullet is currently receiving treatment at an
undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt, having sustained serious injuries.
The Senator had gone to
inquire why the police would disperse the Pro-Amaechi rally that was very
peaceful at the State College of Education, Rumuola but instead the police shot
at him.
