The Lagos State Government
has said it would deploy additional one thousand surveillance cameras in the
state.
Governor Babatunde Fashola
made this known at the public demonstration of live feeds from the existing
CCTV camera in strategic areas in the state.
Governor Fashola said the
state government has already deployed over one thousand two hundred CCTV
camera, including those of the Federal Government.
He said the deployment of the cameras was to effectively cover the entire state to make it safe and secure.
