The Federal Executive
Council has approved a contract of twenty eight point one billion naira for
engineering infrastructure for a new district in the Federal Capital Territory
called Wassa.
The Minister of State for
the FCT, Olajumoke Akinjide told newsmen after the weekly meeting of the
council that the contract covers site clearing, road works, culvert, street
lightening, water and electricity supply as well as drainage.
She said the contract
would be executed in forty eight months.
