The Lagos State House of
Assembly has passed the state’s budget of four hundred and eighty-nine point
six nine billion naira for the year twenty fourteen.
The budget which is made
up of two hundred and thirty four point six billion naira as recurrent expenditure
and two hundred and fifty five billion naira for capital projects.
The Assembly passed the
budget after considering the report of the Appropriation Committee.
Ikuforiji after the
passage directed the clerk to send a clean copy of the budget to Governor
Babatunde Fashola for his assent.
