At-last: PDP Jettisons Bamanga Tukur As President Jonathan Accepts His Resignation Letter

The National Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has accepted the resignation of Bamanga Tukur as the national Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

President Goodluck Jonathan announced the resignation and handed over the letter to the National Secretary of the PDP Professor Wale Oladipo during NEC meeting of the party.

Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River State moved the motion for the acceptance of Bamanga Tuku's resignation and appealed to him not to abandon the party despite his resignation.
