President Jonathan To Launch Victim Support Fund

President Goodluck Jonathan is expected to launch the Victim Support Fund with a fund raising dinner at the State House Banquet Hall today.

The Minister of Information Labaran Maku told newsmen after the Federal Executive Council meeting that international foundations, funding agencies and all Nigerians would be invited to contribute to the fund which was specifically floated to support victims of terrorism in Nigeria.

He said the Victim Support Fund was one of the presidential initiatives to fast-track the reconstruction of the North East and other parts of the country affected by terrorism.
