World
football governing body, FIFA has lifted the suspension placed on Nigeria on
July nine that banned the country from all international football.
The
ban was the result of a court order barring the Aminu Maigari–led Nigeria
Football Federation Executive Committee and the NFF Congress from controlling
and managing the affairs of Nigerian football.
In
a letter signed by FIFA Secretary General, JEROME VALCKE, and addressed to the
NFF President, Aminu Maigari, the body said was satisfied that Nigeria has
complied with its demands for reinstatement into international football.
