Lagos State Government has confirmed the
death of a Liberian man infected with suspected deadly Ebola virus.
The state Commissioner for Health, Jide Idris
made the confirmation at the ongoing joint news briefing in Ikeja.
He said appropriate measures had been put in
place to prevent the spread of the virus in the metropolis.
Our Correspondent reports that the
commissioner however asked residents to report any suspicious case of the virus
to the nearest government hospitals and other health designate officials.
