Investigative Panel On Planned Impeachment Of Adamawa State Governor Begins Sitting

The seven-man panel constituted by the acting Chief Judge of Adamawa State, Justice Ambrose Mammadi has commenced sitting despite the public holiday declared by the state government.

The Registrar of the High Court, Abubakar Babayola told newsmen that the inauguration of the committee was not a requirement for the commencement of the panel job as it could not be found anywhere in the constitution.

Journalists were barred from covering the maiden sitting as stern security men kept watch over the venue of the sitting.
