Governor Fayemi Imposes Dust To Dawn To Curtail Political Unrest

Ekiti State Governor, Doctor Kayode Fayemi has imposed a dust to dawn curfew on the state following violence unleashed by thugs loyal to the PDP.

The thugs who were protesting the killing of a former chairman of the State National Union of Road Transport Workers, Omolafe Aderiye, set ablaze the APC secretariat and Governor Fayemi campaign office in Ado-Ekiti.

They also burnt houses of some APC supporters.

Omolafe Aderiye was shot dead by gunmen in his office in Ijigbo area of Ado-Ekiti, after accompanying the Governor-elect Ayodele Fayose to the state Election Petition Tribunal.
