The youth vigilante group in
Borno State, popularly known as, Civilian JTF, has dispelled the rumour that
the Boko Haram insurgents have taken over the control of Bama town.
Spokesman of the group, Jibrin
Gunda, said the terrorists had instead suffered a massive casualty in the
attack, losing one hundred and thirty persons with thirty five others arrested
and in custody.
He refuted the statement
credited to Ahmed Zanna, the Senator representing Borno Central, that the Boko
Haram have capture Bama.
