The death toll in the Synagogue Church collapsed building in Lagos
has risen to forty-two while one hundred and thirty people
trapped under the rubble had so far been rescued.
The South West spokesman of the National Emergency Management
Agency, Ibrahim Farinloye said the rescue operation is still ongoing.
Ibrahim Farinloye said eighty percent of
people rescued from the collapse building were women, adding that two female
children, aged four and eight years, were among the survivors.
