The Governor of Lagos State, Babtunde
Fashola says plans are underway to amend the state’s public health law to make
more room for funding emergencies.
He announced this today when he
visited the First Consultant Medical Centre, Obalende, where the Liberian man, Patrick
Sawyer who brought Ebola into Nigeria died.
Governor Fashola said the
hospital equipment destroyed during decontamination of the facility would be
replaced.
