The Lagos State Police Command has
paraded the arrested seven armed robbery suspects in connection with last
month's robbery incident at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja.
The state Police Commissioner, Umar Manko while
parading the suspects said some of them were also involved in last year's
robbery attack at the Lagos airport in which over six hundred million naira was
carted away.
He said the suspects were arrested in Lagos, Ogun,
Osun, Ondo and Oyo States, adding that the police are still under the trail of
two other suspects.
He explained that five AK-47 rifles, four
dynamites, ammunition, a car and some charms were recovered from them.
