PDP Gives Amaechi 48 Hours To Explain The Real Owner Of Bombardier Aircraft



The Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State has given the Rivers Governor Chibuike Amaechi 48-hours ultimatum to explain to Rivers people the real owner of the Bombardier aircraft grounded by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

The chairman of the PDP Exco in Rivers State Felix Obuah gave the ultimatum while briefing journalists at the party secretariat in Port Harcourt on the grounding of the aircraft.

The PDP chairman in Rivers State said investigation shows that the aircraft purportedly bought by the Rivers State government was not registered in the name of the Rivers State government.

The PDP chairman in Rivers State Felix Obuah also announced the suspension of the twenty seven members of the Rivers State House of Assembly from the party for voting for the sack of the elected executive of Obio/Akpor local government in Rivers State.

He said the assembly members have failed to heed to calls for due process in the investigation of allegations against the Obio/Akpor executives.
