The State Security
Services says it will appeal a court order directing it to apologise and pay
the sum of two million naira to former FCT Minister Nasir El-Rufai.
A statement signed by its
spokesperson Marlyn Ogah said Mallam El-Rufai’s detention for just two hours
was not a breach of the constitution.
The SSS said it only
carried out its legitimate duty for the smooth conduct of election in Anambra
state.
