Reps Suspend NYSC 4000 Naira Registration Fee: Describe It As Insensitive & Exploitative

The House of Representatives has directed the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC to suspend forthwith its policy requiring prospective corps members to pay four thousand naira as registration fee before accessing their call-up letters.

This directive followed a motion sponsored by Hassan Saleh after which the house instituted a probe into the alleged fee.

Hassan Saleh said as laudable as the idea of sending call-up letters though the internet may be, the decision requiring fresh graduates to cough out four thousand naira to access letters appears insensitive and exploitative.
