South African police are
investigating two Nigerians and an Israeli, who allegedly brought nine point
three million dollars in cash into the country illegally.
The South African Revenue
Service said the funds were seized at an airport in Johannesburg.
Some reports claimed that the
money packed in three suit cases was transported in a private jet from Abuja.
The three passengers reportedly
claimed that the money was meant to buy arms for the Nigerian security
services.
