President Goodluck Jonathan has
directed that the hash tag: Bring Back Goodluck Twenty-Fifteen signs and
banners around Abuja be brought down immediately.
The Special Adviser to the
President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati said in a statement that
President Jonathan shares the widely expressed view that the signs which were
put up without his knowledge or approval are highly insensitive distortion of
the Bring Back Our Girls hash tag.
President Jonathan condemned
the signs which appear to play down the very serious national and global
concern for the abducted Chibok girls.
The President assured Nigerians
and the international community that his administration remains fully engaged
with efforts to rescue the abducted girls.
