The Anambra state Government through a press statement signed by the Commissioner for Education, Uju Okeke has ordered the immediate closure of the Igbariam campus of the Anambra state University.
The statement went on to allege that a protest by aggrieved sutdents of the campus over the alleged killing that occurred in the University was hijacked by miscreants and political thugs.
The Commissioner in the statement maintained that the closure of the Igbariam campus was taken to avert further ugly development.
