Force HQs confirms arrest of suicide bombers

The Force Headquarters has on Monday confirmed the arrest of two suspected suicide bombers in Abuja  

The two suspects were arrested today while entering the Force headquarters and the radio house, venue of the on-going Ministerial Platform

In a telephone interview with our Correspondent, Sam Ogbeifun the Deputy Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba gave the names of the suspects caught at the Loise Edet House as Abdusalami Salihu, explaining that the suspect who came  with out a vehicle was found with items suspected to be explosive in a polythene bag  while John Akpovah from Nassarawa State was arrested at the Radio House with 37 live ammunitions and canisters

The Deputy Image Maker of the Force  said until the  on-going investigations are concluded  into the matter it was  premature at this stage to link the suspects to any of the terrorist groups


Our man reports that Police have beefed  security in and around the Force Headquarters as some visitors were denied entrance into the building while others were subjected to a thorough security check
