A governorship aspirant of
the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State Deji Ajayi has petitioned the
National Chairman of the party, Adamu Mu’azu, to disqualify a fellow aspirant Ayodele Fayose from participating in the PDP primaries scheduled for this
Saturday.
Deji ajayi also threatened
to seek legal redress if Ayodele Fayose was not barred from the primaries to
produce the PDP candidate in the June twenty one governorship election in Ekiti
state.
He argued that Ayodele
Fayose had ceased from being a member of the party, having defected to the
Labour Party in the past and that there was no constitutional recommendation to
the National Working Committee of the PDP for his readmission to the party.
