Governor of Anambra State,
Willie Obiano has appointed three principal officers in his first day at work
at Government House, Awka.
The Governor announced the
appointments of the secretary to the state government, Chief of staff and
principal secretary shortly after presiding over his maiden executive council meeting.
Oseloka Obaze was
re-appointed secretary to the state government.
A Professor of Philosophy
from Howard University, Joseph Asike is the new chief of staff while Willie
Nwokoye, a former Banker is to serve as the principal secretary to the Governor.
Responding on their behalf
after taking their oath of allegiance and oath of office, Oseloka Obaze pledged
that they will justify the appointments.
Governor Obiano who
charged them to deliver on their new assignments said more appointments will be
announced in due course.
