The South South Elders Forum has called on the Peoples
Democratic Party to take stringent measures to expel Rivers state governor,
Rotimi Amaechi to serve as a deterrent to other members.

after a meeting of the group in Abuja, leader of the Forum, Edwin Clark,
accused some Nigerians of ganging up to destabilize the Country using the
current Rivers Sate crisis as an excuse.

group also accused governor Amaechi of being used to stoke the embers of
discord in the country .
Clark
also berated Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka and some northern governors
of double standards in the current crisis.
