Dickson calls for investigation over FAAC deductions.


The Bayelsa State Governor Henry Seriake Dickson has ordered the immediate investigation into the one hundred and fourteen million naira(114)deductions from the State Account by Federation Account Allocation Committee(FAAC) over alleged supply of fertilizer by the last administration in the state.

Dickson made this known to journalists while declaring publicly the state monthly account held at the Banquet Hall in Yenagoa,the state capital.

The Governor directed the State Ministries of Agriculture and Finance to conduct a detail investigation into the deductions and the veracity of the claim on the supply of fertilizer.
Governor Dickson who expressed dismay over the huge amount of money being deducted at source monthly by FAAC due to some huge debt incurred by d past government calls for proper investigation to ascertain the authenticity of such debts.

 Governor, Seriake Dickson also calls for the investigation of the two hundred million naira deduction at source by FAAC over alleged tax related issues by the last administration in the state.
Seriake Dickson at the last monthly transparency briefing says the State Government have saved over twenty four billion naira in the last four months.
