Protests
have been held in the British Capital, London and major cities in Nigeria over
the abducted schoolgirls.
Women activists, women
lecturers and students of the staff school of the University of Ibadan also
staged a peaceful protest at the campus today.
They demanded an
unconditional release of the Chibol schoolgirls.
The Deputy Vice,
Administration, Professor Arinola Sanya led the protest.
The Dean, Faculty of Law,
Professor Oluyemisi Bamgbose who delivered a letter to the Vice-Chancellor,
Professor Issac Adewole, said they were pained that the abducted girls have
been separated from their parents for twenty seven days.
