The British government has
promised to deploy its intelligence gathering resources in support of Nigeria’s
security agencies currently engaged in the search for the abducted schoolgirls.
British Prime Minister, David
Cameron made the pledge in a telephone conversation with President Jonathan.
President Jonathan said he
asked and received a promise of the deployment of British Satellite Imaging
Capabilities and other advanced tracking technologies in support of the rescue
efforts.
Prime Minister Cameron
also told the British Parliament that any assistance needed by Nigeria to
rescue the girls would be given.
