Jonathan has ordered the closure of all schools and government offices in Abuja
ahead of the World Economic Forum, WEF, following another bomb explosion in the
Federal capital Territory.
A statement issued by the
Secretary to the Government of the Federation Anyim Pius Anyim said all
government offices and schools in Abuja are to be closed between seven and nine
of May while the summit last.
The statement added that
Private Organisations with large number of staff may also wish to close down to
ease the flow of traffic within the city and enable participants carry out
their assigned roles and participate actively at the World Economic Forum
Africa.
The conference is expected
to bring together international leaders, policy-makers, entrepreneurs and
philanthropists.
