Former President Olusegun Obasanjo today lamented that cultures of hard
intergrity are fizzling out among Nigerian youths.
The
former president it high time that Nigerian youths were exposed to Biographies
and records of works of nation's heroes and professionals can serve as
effective guides for Nigerian youths in pursuing self advancement.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo made this remark on Wednesday during the formal presentation and launch of biography of late University don and industrialist, Prof. Ayo Ogunsheye titled 'Ayo Ogunseye: The workers' economist.'
Obasanjo, who extolled the virtues of Ogunsheye, urged family members of good Nigerians to make available the work of their heroes for documentation and exposure of youths to them as motivation for the leaders of tomorrow

stressed the need to address the fast diminishing culture of hardwork being
embraced by the youths to encourage them to emulate credible leaders and not
people of tainted character
Speaking
Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof. Isaac Adewole, said, Professor
Ogunsheye blazed the trail to show how academics can impact on the private
sector.
His wife and author of the biography, Prof. Adetowun, lamented what she described as the craze for wealth in the land.
