As fuel scarcity bites harder in Ibadan the capital of Oyo state, Filling stations in the state capital have started selling Petroleum products at N100 per litre.
Our man who went round
the city capital today reports that most filling stations who had claimed
yesterday that they had no fuel and shut their gates to customers this morning
opened with an increase in price of the product.
In Ido local
government, virtually all the filling stations in Apete community were selling
at N100 per litre.
Those selling included
Akijun Oil, Komcol filling station, Solace Global resources and Samog Resources
limited.
When asked the reason for the increase in fuel
price, some of the attendants claimed that their managers told them that
lifting price of the product had gone up.
It was gathered that
the filling stations had earlier in the day sold at N110 per litre but with
public condemnation forced the reduction to N100.
