Civil Society Demands Fuel Prize Reversal



Members of the civil society groups have demanded for the reversal of the litre of petrol from ninety seven naira to forty naira.

The demand was made today during an event in Lagos to mark the three years remembrance of late Gani Fawahinmi.

They also demanded for prosecution of those who have enrich themselves with the subsidy money and the implementation of the House of Representatives subsidy regime report.

The former Petroleum Minister, Professor Tam David West in his lecture condemned the level of corruption in the oil sector.

For his part, human rights activist, Femi Falana called for the restructuring of the country through the active participation of the people.
